Zima is the first Sibe I’ve owned. I researched the breed for years and finally decided the time was right. I found Highlander (Anne and Brian Palmer) who had a lovely litter. I was looking for a show prospect, and Zima was the pup Anne and Brian thought would be the best choice for me, when I went to go over the pups, Zima picked me as much as I picked her. Zima is a beautiful girl and had the start of a promising show career, however, things just didn’t work out for a show dog. Thus she was spayed and I quit showing her. Zima still lives here and is the co-dominant bitch in the house. She and Chynka make a good pair keeping the rest of the pack in order. Zima occasionally ventures into the rally ring with me but her favorite thing is therapy work….I use her especially for difficult cases where the child or adult is very debilitated or awkward as she seems to understand and avoid getting hit by equipment/flailing arms etc and still loves to be with the patient. |
