I happened to be looking over the Highlander website and saw the planned breeding that produced Nadia. I immediately contacted the Palmers and said I want a pup from that litter! Her name is quite the tongue twister I know! It is derived from some Russian terminology very loosely translated as spirit of Star’s hope. Her call name just seemed to fit….some of my Sammy friends call her naughty Nadia as sams are not quite as vocal as sibes are, and Nadia is quite the vocal girl. Nadia has been a dream, she is the “pace” dog for the pack keeping the others running at top speed and exercising in the back yard. She loves the agility equipment I keep in the yard, especially the A frame and dog walk….she likes the view from higher up. She has exquisite structure and movement finishing her AKC and UCI championships quickly and with a couple of BOB wins. Nadia had a very nice litter and the pups are doing great, 3 are in great pet homes and 3 are in show homes and starting their own show careers. |
